When asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up my answer was simply “I want to draw”.
So I went to school, and I worked hard, and I went to college, and worked harder still, and throughout my life that answer never changed.
Luckily for me there was a job out there to suit that very need, and so in the summer of 2001 I became a children’s book illustrator.
Eleven years later, after reading countless stories to my young son, I decided that I’d like to further my career and get into writing. So after some more hard work and research (and pages upon pages of stories later) in 2013 I became a published author.
As an author I have many stories in my portfolio ready to share with the world, and am also very happy to write an already outlined story or story from a given theme.
In my role as an illustrator I can work from the publishers brief (or just the plain text) and provide them with artwork, paper engineering and even the text layout taking the job right through to a press ready document if required.
My design work came a little later on in 2015, when I started providing designs for use on greetings cards, gift bags, gift wrap and also corporate logos.
2016 saw the launch of my 1st solo books, which are both written and illustrated by myself, with ‘Joshua’s Rabbit’ and ‘Huggle’. The collection of my titles is steadily growing - so please visit the book section of this website for more information and new releases!
